Summary

Our book is called Fallen Angels. It is about a guy named Perry, who joins the army in Vietnam. When Perry reaches Vietnam, he makes new friends. Perry joins the army because he can't afford college. In the story, a few people die and Perry is always afraid of dying and not getting back to the world. Perry tries to send letters to his mother and brother back home. Perry gets injured once and when is pain, he sees one of his friends die in front him.


Recommendation

We would recommend this book to teenagers who like action. Fallen Angels is a really good book to us. This book is best for guys because it has a lot of features boys would understand better than girls would. In conclusion, read Fallen Angels.

About The Author

Walter Dean Myers was born on August 17, 1937, in Martinsburg, Virginia. At an young age Myers and his family moved to Harlem, New york. He quit highschool and later joined the army, where he started writing various magazines and periodicals. Winning a contest for writing children books encouraged him to be an author. Wheres Does the Day go. was the first book he wrote, which was published in 1969.
